Impression of the book "The Devil in the White City"

The Devil in the White City is one of the Bestseller in the country. This book is literary nonfiction novel that talks about Chicago World’s fair, new buildings surrounded in 1893. Erik Larson- the author of the book describes the lives of two men who are the main characters of the book. This book is impressing by combination of two separate’s men life, yet connected plot with some gaps left by history. One of the plot discourses on Daniel Burnham who is an architect, and the other plot discourses on H.H. Holmes- a serial killer who imposes the fair to find his victims. While reading part one, I was terrified of the description how Holmes murders an individual already. It shows a clear scene in my imagination of how it was auctioned. This books makes me want to read more and discover more of the murdering acts.
